Ski jumping center in Sebenje was opened in 1989 with major international competition. It has a great influance on ski jumpers in Tržič area, with dedicated work of trainers Jelko Gros, Viktor Jekovec and amateur trainer Janko Mohorič, results soon came up on national and international level.

Final configuration was set in 1993, when having five ski jumping hills, all covered with plastics, ski jumping house with fitness in club facilities. Bulidnig a ski center was a giant venture, which would never happend without of help of municipality Tržič, businesses and private individuals in Tržič area.
